This utility can be used to apply chi square test of independence, to test whether two categorical variable (each having >=2 levels or categories) are independent of each other.

Number of groups (rows) in your study (r) Total Number of groups in your study. (No. of rows. Should be > = 2.)
Number of columns in your table (c) Number of possible subgroups for each group in your study. (No. of Columns)
Observed values in your study.
Observed values in your r x c table.
Significance level (Alpha or Type I error) % % In percentage. Commonly used values are 5, 1, 10.
